השנה אנחנו מחזירים את אליפות האירופרס הישראלית לקהילת הקפה המקומית, ומאוד חשוב לנו לשתף את סיפור המוצא שלנו.

היום הכרזנו על השופט הראשון שלנו לאירוע המקומי ב-30 לספטמבר כאן בתל אביב,

Hey coffee lovers! This year we are bringing back the Israeli Aeropress Championship for the local coffee community and it's very important for us to share our origin stories this year. Today we announced our first judge for the local event here in Tel Aviv share our judge's story here today with you all. Bravo to Tsuky Asher, one of our Israeli Aeropress judges for 2021. We'd love you to get to know more about this wonderful local coffee leader, who is always ready to help when and where he can contribute and also roasts up a mean cup of coffee through his roasting label, Tsukcafe. Can you share, in your own words, your job/role in coffee here in Israel? How are you a part of the coffee industry?

אני בעלים בשותפות עם שלמה שטרן בבית הקליה "צוק קפה" ובחנות

"אמיגו קפה פתח תקוה". בית הקליה Tsukcafe הוא בית לקלייה ולקפה ייחודי.

in the entire coffee world and its surroundings! Local roasting coffee, coffee brands, professional coffee machines, home coffee machines, grinders,

______________ What are your thoughts on the coffee community's recent growth in 2020 and

what do you look forward to regarding this community in the future? קהילת חובבי הקפה גדלה מאד בשנת הקורונה (2020) אך לא רק בגלל הקורונה אלא גם בגלל המון פעילויות שנעשו בשנים האחרונות פה בארץ כמו אירועי טעימות בבתי קפה משולבים בהרצאות מעמיקות על עולם הקפה, כתבות ופירסומים במדיות השונות והמון פעילויות שהבשילו בשנת 2020 לתוצאה שהיא הגדלת הקהילה. אני מקווה שהגידול הזה ימשך ויגובה בידע, פתיחות והבנה בקפה וכך נוכל להמשיך להביא לכאן את מיטב איכויות הקפה שיש היום בעולם אם בעיבודים מיוחדים, זנים חדשים, טרנדים מיוחדים ועוד... The community of coffee lovers has grown greatly in the Corona (2020) but not only because of the Corona but also because of lots of activities done in recent years here in Israel such as tasting events in cafes combined with in-depth lectures on the coffee world, articles and publications in various media and many activities. I hope that this growth will continue and be backed by knowledge, openness and understanding in coffee and so we can continue to bring here the best qualities of coffee that exist in the world today, whether in special processing, new varieties, special trends and more ... ______________

What is your go-to coffee drink first thing in the morning? הקפה הראשון שלי בבוקר הוא לאטה ענק עם מנה כפולה של אספרסו!

לפני כן אין מה לדבר אתי... My first coffee in the morning is a huge latte with a double serving of espresso

--before that there is nothing to talk to me about! _______________ What is the best tasting coffee you've had recently?

הקפה הטוב ביותר ששתיתי לאחרונה הוא קפה שעבדתי קשה והרבה מאד להשיגו והוא הקולומביה CASTILLO MACERATION CARBONIC. קפה מטורף עם טעמי פרי עזים כל כך ממש כאילו אכלת את הפרי הרגע!!!

The best coffee I've had recently was coffee that I've worked very hard to obtain and it is Colombia Castillo Maceration Carbonic. It's a crazy coffee with strong fruit flavors, just like you ate the fruit just now!! _____________ What do you love about coffee? אני אוהב את הענין שקפה מחבר אנשים. בעבודה עצמה אני אוהב את היצירה שיש בקליית קפה. I like the way that coffee connects people. In the work itself I love the creative process in roasting coffee. __________

What do you love about the people in coffee? אני אוהב את אלה שמפרגנים לאחרים, פתוחים לקבל טעמים, שיטות ואג'נדות חדשות. I love those who help and compliment others, are open to new tastes, methods and

agendas.

___________ What are you looking forward to as a judge in this event? מצפה שיהיה מענין, מהנה וכמובן ללמוד כמה שיותר דברים חדשים מהאנשים ומהאירוע. Expect it to be interesting, fun and of course to learn as many new things

from the people and the event as possible.
